LIGHT DUTY CHAIN-DRIVEN LIVE AND FRICTION ROLLERS 318-333
The chain-driven friction rollers are a set of two coaxial rollers; the outer roller, which supports the load, is connected to the inner chain driven one by special sleeve bearings that create a “friction couple” proportional to the conveyed load (in some types of rollers this force can be increased by an auxiliary axial friction clutch).
LIGHT DUTY CHAIN-DRIVEN LIVE AND FRICTION ROLLERS
These rollers are driven by a tangential chain or by sequential chain links and are suitable for the conveyance and accumulation of light loads, also with relatively high speeds. They are provided with steel or stabilized polyamide sprockets.
Steel or plastic tube. Diameters 50 and 60 mm. (63,5 for plastic tubes). M8 bored and tapped shaft, complete with securing screws.
They are suitable for environmental temperatures from -10°C to +40°C.
The corresponding idle rollers are shown on Section C03.
The catalogue shows the essential technical data, the executions available upon request and the rated loads according to speed and length.
The chain-driven friction rollers with plastic sprocket can be easily converted into live rollers and vice versa by simply inserting or removing the tooth-insert code 114099.
This operation, which can be easily made even during the installation and without using any auxiliary tool, allows, even at the last moment, a modification of the operating features of single conveyor sections.
