Unit handling
The gravity, thrust or live roller conveyors, thanks to their cheapness and flexibility, are among the most used unit handling conveyors.In the roller conveyors the function of the rollers is to carry the unit loads and allow their movement by gravity or by thrust. In powered roller beds the unit loads are pushed by the rollers, put into rotation by belts or chains. Their most important characteristics are the load capacity, the low rolling friction, a bearing protection adequate to the environmental conditions, the roundness and the concentricity of the rotating part.
