COMPONENTS FOR LIVE STORAGES
The live storages consist of several gravity roller conveyors in which the Unit Loads are conveyed without energy consumption.
The goods unloading is done in the same order as in the storage (first in first out).
ROLLER CHANNELS FOR LIGHT DUTY LIVE STORAGE TRACKS
The wheel channels are mainly used in light live storage systems for the handling of small light duty unit loads.
They contain plastic wheels rotating on a steel shaft with a very low friction coefficient. The wheels can be flanged or cylindrical.
These are U-shaped channels containing Ø 48 steel or plastic wheels set at a 55 or 75 mm pitch are mainly used for gravity live storage.
Upon request plastic wheels are also supplied with stainless steel balls (XS).
These U-shaped channels contain Ø 50 galvanized steel rollers, set up with different distance between centres.
They enable to realize roller conveyors of 2, 3 or more parallel components that are suitable for steel containers.
Maximum length that can be supplied LP = 3000 mm.
In the live storages the slope of the roller conveyors is determined in such a way to grant the load progress even after long stop periods (generally 4%). In order to avoid that the loads pick up an excessive speed, special speed regulators are used, set up with a distance between centers equal to the unit load length. In such way the load speed is kept constant and lower than 0,35 meters per second.
Working temperatures within –10°C and +50°C.
As the previous ones, their duty is to automatically regulate the slope speed of the unit loads that must be generally lower than 0,35 meters per second.
They are set up at the place of a carrying roller with a distance between centers equal to the length of the unit load.
