Rollers atex series

ATEX is the conventional name for the European Union Directive 94/9/EC, which provides the technical requirements to be applied to equipment intended for use in areas where a potentially explosive atmosphere may be present. The directive is named after the words ATmosphere and Explosion.

The DUGOM steel rollers series 309, 312, 312P, 313, 313P and the corresponding impact and retoum rubber tread rollers are supplied, upon request, with ATEX marking (execution EX). DUGOM rollers ATEX series, identified by the specific marking and falling under the definition of components with no autonomous function, are disigned and manufactured in conformity with the essential requirements of the Community Directive 94/9/CE (G.U.C.E.) L100/8 dd 19/4/94 in force since 01/03/1996).

Therefore they can be used in equipments intended for work in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as: Ex Group I, category M2 (for Mines). Ex Group II, category 2G (for Gas Zone 1) and 2D (for Dust Zone 21). Ex Group II, category 3G (for Gas Zone 2) and 3D (for Dust Zone 22). .
